John Brisco is President and leading our Original Mels International Team. John Brisco has over 35 years of international and domestic development expertise, holding executive positions at a myriad of established, beloved brands. He spent seven years at Tony Roma’s where he ultimately served as President and CEO, collectively eleven years at Ruby Tuesday’s where he expanded its franchise base to 38 countries within five years, successfully led Sbarro’s international development opening approximately 100 new stores per year, served as VP of International Development at TGI Fridays across 75 countries, developed the international business for Twin Peaks and most recently sourced franchisees and finalized agreements worldwide as President of International Franchising for Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer.
