John Brisco is President and leader of our Original Mels International Team, bringing more than 35 years of domestic and international development expertise. Throughout his career, he has held executive roles with some of the world's most established and beloved restaurant brands.
Brisco spent seven years with Tony Roma's, where he ultimately served as President and CEO. At Ruby Tuesday's, he led the company's global expansion to 38 countries, and during his tenure with Sbarro International, he oversaw the successful opening of approximately 100 new stores per year. He has also served as Vice President of International Development at TGI Fridays, and held executive management positions at Twin Peaks and Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer.
With decades of proven experience in international growth and brand development, Brisco is passionate about partnering with operators and investors to bring the timeless Original Mels Diner concept to new markets around the world.
